David obtained a Bachelor Degree in Theatre with a major in acting from The University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He attended both the summer school program and the two year program at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in California.
In addition to formal training, David has had the pleasure of studying with a number of Professional Coaches and schools including Matthew Harrison, The William Davis Centre for Actor’s Study, Michele Lonsdale Smith of Lyric Acting School, Ilkay Silk of St. Thomas University, R.H. Thompson, Voice Artists Stevie Vallance, David Kaye, and Sonja Bakker, former Vancouver Casting Director Sid Kozak, and many more!

As ‘Sweet Amerika’ is released in theatres across Canada, David books a principal role in the Independent Canadian Sci-Fi Feature ‘Helix’.
David recently had the pleasure of working with Award Winning Director/Writer/Producer Ileana Pietrobruno voicing the role of ‘John’ in the upcoming film ‘Girlfriend Experience’. David also completed a voice over for a TV commercial for Tourism British Columbia ‘SkiBC’ as well as both a TV commercial and print campaign for ‘ActNow! BC’.
Leading into 2008 David booked 3 principal network roles in less than three weeks! These include a role on the popular sci-fi series ‘Eureka’, the upcoming series ‘Flash Gordon’, and a role on the hit series ‘Kyle XY’. Also in 2007, David booked one of the leads in a National commercial for WestJet Airlines, a principal role on the hit television series 'Whistler'.
